Woops
[It's an everyday, ordinary day for one Fujiwara Hisoka. She's at the huge shrine at the back of the garden of the truly ridiculous estate, or was, before she walked out and is by the koi pond, talking to the fish and being generally kind of adorably weird.
Truly, nothing extraordinary could possible happen.]

He knows someone struck with the intent to kill. It hurt too much to be anything else but that. Beyond that, he's drawing a blank. He's not even sure where he is right now; his head's swimming, his eyes closed.
He's falling. He just doesn't know from how high; and maybe that's for the best as he literally plummets earthward.]
no subject
It's a good thing, too--if she'd gotten caught by any part of him when he hit the pond, she'd have been dragged in with him.
As it is, the water is freezing and full of suddenly incredibly panicked fish, but it's fortunately not particularly deep.]
--Ahhhhhhh?!
[There's just not a lot of reactions you can have to someone falling out of the fucking sky.]

[Too bad there's now a kind of panicked chick trying to get his attention. If he doesn't respond immediately she's basically kicking off her sandals and going in to get him.]
no subject
Aah... haah....
no subject
[It's reflexive, really, and she's really not supposed to use her powers so quickly, but surely her father and Hiroaki would understand, right? So she's wading into the pond and pretty much immediately trying to reach out to bestow upon him the healing goodness.]
no subject
You're... soaked now.... Where am I...?
[It's probably more accurate to ask who survives getting run through and dropped from god knows how high and is able to talk after the fact first.]
no subject
The Fujiwara Estate's gardens. Can you move? I don't really think you should stay in the koi pond when you're injured.
no subject
[He sighs after a second. The wound has closed, and he seems about normal, which... means that through his shredded and soaked clothes she can probably see that he's got all sorts of weird runic symbols apparently burnt into him.
Not that she has long to look down because he'll pull himself up to his feet quickly enough.]
I can walk, I think.
no subject
[She does actually notice that but, well, being the avatars of the gods they may be descended from runs in her family. She doesn't really think much of weird shit.
Once he stands, though, she's getting out of the pond.]
Good. We should...probably get you dried off, and give those clothes a proper funeral.
no subject
Yeah, that would make sense, and... I'm sorry, but, do I know you?
no subject
[She's pretty chipper for all that, really. But she'll lead him into the estate proper, and send off some servants for towels and clothes and to not alert some people called Hiroaki or Keisuke yet.]
But you're injured, and I don't think people fall out of the sky without a parachute or anything recreationally, so all that can wait.
no subject
[He blinks. He knows he was supposed to be doing something, but. Now he's not sure what. Come to think of it he doesn't even recall where he was going to begin with, before he was left for dead.]
no subject
[She's leading him to a living room and handing him the towels once they're brought.]
no subject
I'm having a hard time putting things together, in my head. I just can't remember....
no subject
Uh. That's. That's not surprising, considering how hard you fell, but that's not exactly good news...What can you remember?
no subject
[He sighs and just lets the towel fall after he's dried off enough, gesturing widely and shirtlessly, apparently completely oblivious.]
And I... I was looking for something. Or I was going to be, I had to get out of there first when she found me. It was something important...
Beyond that, though. I can't say I remember anything.
no subject
So someone did this to you...which means if they find out, they're going to come after you again.
[She looks thoughtful for a moment, before she hands him a shirt.]
If that's the case, you should stay under our protection, at least until we find a way to get your memory back. My power doesn't work on that sort of thing.
no subject
Is it warm in here or something? You're kinda red in the face...
no subject
[Seriously now is not the time to hit on cute boys.]
no subject
If you say so. But like I said, beyond that... nothing. I can't tell you anything else because I can't recall anything else.
no subject
Not even your name, huh?
[She nods, doing her best to seem firm.] That tears it. Stay here, we'll make sure you're protected and taken care of until we can find a way to get your memory back, or you're no longer in danger, whichever you prefer.
no subject
[He shrugs.]
I'm not as helpless as you seem to think that I am. I just... she's powerful. I don't remember who 'she' is, but, if it was something less than her I never would have lost.
[He looks down at his hand.]
I'm missing something. Also I should probably get new pants before I ruin your floor.
no subject
[Looking down at his pants, briefly.] ...As long as you promise not to just whip 'em off in the living room, we can arrange that.
no subject
[Scratching his cheek and then looking down at his soaked, carved up shirt.]
I wonder if there's any clue in it... Probably will still be there after it dries.
no subject
Probably, considering the only reason it's wet is because you fell in my pond, and that's no mystery. But, in the meantime...
[Handing him her phone, which she's used to bring up one of those baby name sites.]
Until you remember your own, you can at least pick out something you'd like to be called.
no subject
[He'll take the phone while he waits for the servant to bring him pants and scroll through the list. He might not have a memory of much but he seems to recall a lot of how the world works, at least.]
...Retsu? It isn't on here, but it seems almost familiar.
[Bro you are literally saying that your name is violence. And he'll hand the phone back because the maid just brought him pants and he'll head into the bathroom.
Hisoka ponder your choices starting... now.]
no subject
Apparently pretty soon because, even from the bathroom, the really loud angry cawing should be audible.]
Wha--Hiroaki!!
no subject
Is everything okay?
no subject
--take someone in you know nothing about! He could be a youma for all you know!
Enough, Hiroaki! [Wow, she can actually get loud and kind of imperious when she's angry.]
Everything is fine, Retsu.
no subject
[And that's about it, unfortunately, if we go by the look on his face.]
no subject
But they'll also go f'r blood, flesh and bone if it's on the menu.
...Thank you, Hiroaki. [She sighs, and then bows--it's a shallow angle, despite her manners, and the reason will become apparent shortly after.] I realize I haven't formally introduced myself--my name is Fujiwara Hisoka, current avatar of our lady Amaterasu-no-ookami and bearer of her power. It is my duty to fight and destroy these youma before they hurt innocents. Hiroaki here is simply...worried for my safety.
But I don't believe you are a youma. I've sensed no malice from you.
no subject
[He actually does reach up to his temple and oh hey that marking on him just seriously pulsed.]
no subject
It's alright. We'll figure this out...these markings are probably a good place to start, honestly, but there's no need to go rushing headlong into things.
I will do everything I can to help you find out who you are, I promise.
no subject
Th-thanks. I appreciate it.
no subject
[She smiles, and then sighs.]
...Of course, the hard part will be explaining the situation to my father and Keisuke--my brother. Father's likely to understand this is a matter of doing the right thing, but Keisuke is very, um. Flaily.

no subject
[That stretch was 100% unintentional, we swear. Look it's not his fault the maid decided he needed a shirt just too small for him.]
no subject
Yes, but that doesn't mean you won't be involved in the decision-you're not going to be indentured to us for our aid.
no subject
[Really, on some level he's used to people making choices for him.]
no subject
I do.
no subject
[Seriously, he doesn't even know what the fuck to say.]
no subject
[She smiles, rather brilliantly and clearly attempting to turn the friendship dial up, here.] The healing you received makes a lot of people feel hungry afterwards.
no subject
[This is what normal is now to him.]
If you want, sure. I'm not going to complain.
no subject
[She shrugs, and then stands up, with the raven still grumpily fluffed on her shoulder.] We'll make the first stop the kitchen, then!
[It should go without saying, but the Fujiwara estate is huge and a rather curious fusion of traditional japanese and victorian-era housing. The kitchen itself is nothing at all traditional, all marble tiles and sleek appliances and some weird chainsmoker who, given the rest of the staffs reaction, probably doesn't actually work there but they're just resigned to it. The pantry is a place of wonders. Whatever he feels like grabbing is probably around here somewhere.]
no subject
Hmm...
no subject
Also she's handing him an apple.] Here, start with that, I'm gonna go bother someone into making us ramen.
