[Let us say it has been some time. Long enough for people to realize a certain pair of twins were not avatars but incarnations, for thing with some rather deadly ancient yomi to escalate, and for someone to actually learn how to use a sword.
Let's say it's April. Graduation, even. The blossoms at the school have bloomed harder than they have in recent memory, the Fujiwara patriarch looks exceedingly grim at certain fox-blooded boyfriends having turned up in public, and Hisoka, well.
Hisoka wandered off at the earliest opportunity, away from photos and mementos and all those tear-stained fairwells and all that, to the base of a truly ancient cherry tree on the school grounds. One can only assume she's waiting her for people to follow.]

Which is why he's at the tree so suddenly.]
I wonder how many summers this tree has seen.

[Of course, as she's grown into her power, it's not as though it's hard for anyone to find her, now. Such is the nature of the Sun that she can't be hidden--even normal people notice something, these days.
It would get a little lonely, if she didn't have anyone to rely on, honestly.]
I figured I'd be able to see the fireworks from here without getting involved, when Father finally manages to corner Kazehaya.

And that not a soul is around has nothing to do with it, Hisoka?

[She looks back out over the proceedings--she's not wrong, the throng of people at the ceremony site can be seen from here pretty easily.]
I hate things like goodbyes. It's even worse when it's people who never really knew you to begin with. I don't know what to do with any of it.

[He does, however, finally finish walking over to stand by her.]
no subject
[He wanted her to sneakily reach over to grab his hand, right? Because she's gonna.]
no subject
no subject
[Because she certainly isn't going to let him try and forbid her dating her sword.]
no subject
[Seriously, she doesn't seem the quiet type.]
no subject
There's knowing and there's being official about it...but I suppose letting him deal with Keikitchi dating a fox ten years older than he is is the better way to go about it.
[Leaning into him.] It's going better down there than I thoug---Oh, no, the yelling is starting, nevermind.
no subject
Perhaps we would be better served making our escape. I doubt we could calm the situation.
no subject
[You get distracted and drop your sword boyfriend while flying one time...]
no subject
[But he's got her held tight to him, so. Away they go!]
no subject
[WOOSH. she's got some serious speed going on that, if nothing else.]
no subject
[This is incredibly, probably dangerously fast.]
no subject
[But it gets them to the swank hideaway they've been using as a base in under five minutes so, hey, whatever works!]
no subject
[Well, they might have landed but he hasn't let her go yet.]
no subject
...If I pretend you're not can you beat the shit out of Tsukiyomi the next time he gets creepy and say it was for his safety?
no subject
[He strokes a hand through her hair and then moves to walk away from her, into their secret base.]
no subject
[Following him in, and checking to make sure no one else is here today.]
He says, in an empty building where no one else is likely to be for a few hours...I wonder what you mean~
no subject
[He's seen the stash!]
no subject
I didn't think you'd be so interested in that sort of reading material! Certainly there's things more to your taste to be found?
no subject
[He looks back, over his shoulder.]
You seem to be getting ideas...
no subject
[Which she has decided to deal with by sticking her tongue in his ear.]
But you wanted me to be persuasive, Re-tsu~
no subject
[He laughs a bit shakily; no, no he was a fucking oddity the last time he was down here and an object of worship before that.]
no subject
Then what do you say you make it clear, on every level, that no skeevy moon child has any chance of winning against you?
no subject
You're making that difficult, Hisoka...
no subject
I had some other activities in mind.
[She's learned by now not to pump magic into his name, but she is going to trace over where some of the old seal runes were, while she's here.]
no subject
And what do you want to do...?
no subject
[Tweaking a nipple.]
no subject
You'll have to unhand me, then, if you would like me to reciprocate...

[He'll turn to face her, and grab her by her hips to pull her close to him, teasing a kiss.]
